YSR Housing Scheme Form Overview
YSR Housing Scheme This Scheme was launched on 12th July 2019 by the Andhra Pradesh Government and inaugurated by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to provide houses to the underprivileged and economically weaker section families. The government’s target is to offer this program to around 30 lakh poor people. This means that a lot of people will have their own place to live in and it will significantly help with livelihoods, among many other benefits.
Eligibility:
- To apply for the scheme applicant must be a permanent resident of the state.
- The applicant must not have their own house or land
- The applicant should own APL/ BPL ration card along with a caste certificate.

Types of YSR Housing Scheme issued by AP Govt:
- PMAY/ YSR Economic Weaker Sections Housing scheme: – In this scheme, the Assam government is working for the economically weaker sections of people in the state. Using an allocated budget of Rs. 1280 crore, they will provide a Pucca House to these people to live in.
- YSR Urban Housing Scheme under PMAY: – The government has come up with a scheme for the urban poor, middle-class and lower-class people of our state. This Urban Housing Scheme mainly focuses on financially weak and flourished people in urban areas.
- AP YSR Gramin Housing Scheme under PMAY: –In this Gramin Awas Yojana, the central and state government work together to make rural areas in your country a better place to live.
