Vigilance Pledge Overview
Vigilance Pledge is a pledge that you take to show your allegiance to the nation. There are many occasions when we have to recite this pledge to join any government organization.
In this integrity pledge to the citizens “I believe that corruption has been one of the major impediments” to the economic, political and social progress of our country. I believe that all stakeholders like government, citizens and private sector need to work together to eradicate corruption.”
- To observe integrity and the rule of law in all walks of life;
- Do not take or give bribes;
- To perform all tasks in an honest and transparent manner;
- to act in the public interest;
- setting examples by demonstrating honesty in personal dealings;
- Reporting any incident of corruption to the appropriate agency.
