UP TGT Waiting List 2021 Overview
The Secondary Education Service Selection Board had completed the selection process for 12610 posts of TGTs and 2597 posts of PGTs at the end of October last year on the orders of the Supreme Court. After allotting schools, appointment letters were also issued to the candidates. Even after the release of appointment letters, a large number of candidates did not join. Now 1252 vacancies of TGT and 106 vacancies of PGT are to be recruited from the waiting list. Deputy Director of Education Secondary-III Ramchet has released the list of vacant posts.
The candidates were also continuously agitating for the demand of giving appointment to the vacant posts to the waiting list candidates. Candidates also gave memorandum to the selection board several times. Earlier, under TGT/PGT-2016, the process of filling 899 vacant posts of TGT from the waiting list was started and these candidates are to be appointed by April 2023.
