Various types of charitable and non-commercial organizations are registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. And on receipt of complaints of financial irregularities by the organizations, the accounts of the organization are examined and the activities of the organization are also inspected. Also, if there is an election dispute in the management committee of the institution, then there is a provision to refer the case to the prescribed authority under Section-25 of the Act. If the elections to the institution can be canceled by the prescribed authority.
