There is a reservation in Tamilnadu government recruitments for candidates who studied in Tamil medium. Candidates must get a certificate from the school or institution and produce during the exam or interview

To prove that you are a Tamil medium student, you must submit a PSTM certificate when applying for TNPSC group exams (SSLC, HSC, and Degree). The certificate is issued by the institution where you earned your academic credentials, such as a high school, college, or university.

• Mark sheet copy of qualifying exam
• No Objection Certificate which is issued by the head of department/officer/employer
• Conduct & Character certificate

Important Instructions:

• Candidate must get PSTM certificate from all class where they studies
• If a Candidate studies from 1 to 10 in a scame school there is no need to get 10 pstm certificates for each class, one certificate mentions that all the classes the candidate studies in tamil
• If a Candidates studies different school,then the candidates must get PSTM from each school
• If a candidate just studied in different stream in any one of his academic class,then he/she is not eligible for the reservations
