Sundar Kand Path Overview
Lord Bajrangbali is pleased by reciting the beautiful Kand and destroys all the sorrows and sorrows of his devotees. By taking the name of Hanuman ji to a person, the evil and negative forces run away. By regularly reciting the same Sunder Kand Path, freedom from all kinds of obstacles is found. The glory of Hanuman ji has been described in detail in the Sundar Kand Adhyay of Shri Ramcharitmanas. In this, especially the victory of Hanuman ji has been praised.
By singing this melodious and divine aarti, all the desires are fulfilled and the entire benefit of Hanumant Vandana is obtained. While doing the aarti, it is necessary to take care of some special things, such as do not stand in front of Hanuman ji while doing the aarti, but stand on his right side and do the aarti. Apart from this, the recitation of Bajrang Baan and Hanuman Chalisa also gives us a lot of benefits. After reciting Hanuman Chalisa, Hanuman Chalisa Aarti must also be done. In most of the North Indian regions of North India, the festival of Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated on the day of Chaitra Purnima.

1 – जगदीश्वर की वंदना
2 – रघुनाथ जी से पूर्ण भक्ति की मांग
नान्या स्पृहा रघुपते हृदयेऽस्मदीये
सत्यं वदामि च भवानखिलान्तरात्मा।
भक्तिं प्रयच्छ रघुपुंगव निर्भरां मे
कामादिदोषरहितंकुरु मानसं च॥2॥
3 – हनुमान जी का वर्णन
अतुलितबलधामं हेमशैलाभदेहं
दनुजवनकृशानुं ज्ञानिनामग्रगण्यम्।
सकलगुणनिधानं वानराणामधीशं
रघुपतिप्रियभक्तंवातजातं नमामि॥3॥
4 – जामवंत के वचन हनुमान् जी को भाए
चौपाई :
जामवंत के बचन सुहाए,
सुनि हनुमंत हृदय अति भाए॥
तब लगि मोहि परिखेहु तुम्ह भाई,
सहि दुख कंद मूल फल खाई ॥1॥
5 – हनुमान जी का प्रस्थान
जब लगि आवौं सीतहि देखी,
होइहि काजु मोहि हरष बिसेषी॥
यह कहि नाइ सबन्हि कहुँ माथा,
चलेउ हरषि हियँ धरि रघुनाथा ॥2॥
6 – हनुमान जी का पर्वत में चढ़ना
सिंधु तीर एक भूधर सुंदर,
कौतुक कूदि चढ़ेउ ता ऊपर॥
बार-बार रघुबीर सँभारी,
तरकेउ पवनतनय बल भारी ॥3॥
7 – पर्वत का पाताल में धसना
जेहिं गिरि चरन देइ हनुमंता,
चलेउ सो गा पाताल तुरंता॥
जिमि अमोघ रघुपति कर बाना,
एही भाँति चलेउ हनुमाना॥4॥
8 – समुन्द्र का हनुमान जी को दूत समझना
जलनिधि रघुपति दूत बिचारी,
तैं मैनाक होहि श्रम हारी॥5॥
Steps To Read Sundar Kand Path PDF
- Get up early in the morning and do daily activities and take a bath early.
- Then wear clean clothes and prepare worship material in the temple or at your place of worship.
- Now first of all, for bathing the idol/statue of God, take a bath with pure water in a copper pot/earthen pot.
- Then prepare the worship material (rice, kumkum, lamp, ghee, incense sticks, Ashtagandha).
- Prasad material (fruits, milk, sweets, churma, coconut, panchamrit, paan etc.) can be taken according to one’s faith.
- Before starting the puja, you will put tilak on your forehead.
- Start the worship by taking the name of Shri Ganesh ji.
- Read the entire Sunderkand text and after starting the lesson, one should not lift or eat anything in the middle.
- After the recitation is completed, recite Hanuman Chalisa.
- Immediately after completing the puja, distribute prasad and take prasad yourself.
