Essay of Rajmata Jijau Bhashan

Rajmata Jijau Speech Respected dais, I greet all dignitaries present on the dais, President, Organizers, Moderators of today’s program and all the students present and begin my speech. In fact, it is a privilege for all of us to have the subject of Rajmata Jijau on this platform and I consider myself lucky that today’s speech contest gives me the opportunity to speak about Rajmata Jijau.

Friends, it can never happen that nobody knows anything about Rajmata Jijau. Those who saw the dream of their Swarajya and not only saw it but also made it come true, that is our masaheb Jijau. Adisakti is mentioned in Indian Puranas. The appearance of this Adishakti appeared to the whole world in the form of Rajmata Jijau. We do not need any reference while mentioning Maasaheb.

“Mujra to my mother Jijau,

Who created Shur Shivbala.

Mother Bhavani was present.

From whose womb Shivaba took birth!”

Jijau, who is such a great royal mother, was born in Sindkhed Raja in Buldhana district of Maharashtra state on 12 January 1598. According to the date, Jijau was born on Paush Poornima. His father’s name was Lakhujirao Jadhav, while his mother’s name was Mhalsabai alias Girijabai. From childhood, Jijau had a grudge against injustice.

To fight against this injustice, he adopted sword and shield at a young age and adopted martial skills. For many years, the Mughal power was running in our Maharashtra and was robbing the poor people. The inhuman people of this Mughal power were putting their hands on the shame of their nanny-sisters.

Who will stop them? The overall situation at that time was that no one should say anything and no one should say anything. But, this abuse will not be tolerated anymore. Basically, someone should think ten times while doing torture, something should be done.

Jijau Maasaheb thought this thought in his heart. Shivba was born on February 19, 1630 at the foot of Jijau. Maasaheb’s joy skyrocketed due to Shivba’s birth. He knew that his son Shivba would surely fulfill the dream of Swarajya that he had seen.

He narrated heroic stories from Ramayana and Mahabharata to Shiva from a very young age. Swordsmanship, war skills were taught to Shiva by Maasaheb himself. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj got this balkadu of Swarajya establishment from Maasaheb. Therefore, Shiva Raya also made this dream of Jijau’s mother come true.

Friends, in our Indian culture as well as in many Puranas, one thing is well known to us that since eternity, whenever the need arises, the feminine energy has taken its avatar.

If we say this sentence in the context of Rajmata Jijau, then there will be no difference in it. Jijau masaheb did what the big chiefs of our Maharashtra could not do. Even before the birth of Shivba, Maasaheb had decided his goal. Shiva also took a vow to fulfill his mother’s dream.

Chhatrapati Shivaji decided to get independence by any means. No mother loves anything more than her own son. But Ma Saheb never thought like that. Maasaheb Jijau has made a great contribution in creating Swaraj.

“If it wasn’t for you Jijau,

Shivba and Shambhu were no more.

Jijau if it wasn’t for you,

If not, keep Swarajya!”

Our Rajmata Jijau Maasaheb is the best example of how to educate our children, how to make them capable and strong. If every mother wants to produce an ideal son, then every mother should practice Rajmata Jijau.

If we look at the mothers of today, we see a terrible sight. Today, 99% out of 100% mothers are those who fulfill their responsibility by handing mobile phones to their children. In fact, all we need to make our children strong is movement and exercise.

But, today’s mother encourages her children to play games by giving them mobile phones. Due to this, today’s children are becoming very stubborn and lazy. However, until their mothers realize this, none of us can bring about any change. No matter how much we talk about this great Jijau masaheb, it is very little.

The fame of Jijau Maasaheb is such that even if one writes about him with the ink of the sea and the paper of the sky, it will also diminish. Actually, Jijau had four elder brothers before his marriage. Maheri had mastered his political and martial arts, and this he later used after their marriage when Shivaba was born, to bestow Shivaraya with a high standard of education and invaluable rites.

Friends, Jijabai, the wife of Shahajiraje, who first served as a Sardar under the Nizamshah of Ahmednagar, built the hill fort Shivneri near Junnar in Pune district in AD. Shivaji was born in 1630. In fact, Jijabai’s five sons had died before Shivaba was born.

Finally Shivaji Maharaj lived alone. In fact, if any other mother had gone through this, she would never have prepared her son for such a life-threatening task.

On the contrary, that mother would have pampered her son a lot, would have provided all his wishes. But, my queen Jijau prepared her beloved son Shivba for the benefit of the nation. He had prayed to Tulja Bhawani to give birth to a son who would make the clan, the country, the religion proud and when Shivaji Maharaj was born, he also started making Shivaba according to his prayer to Tulja Bhawani.

When he got the jagir of Pune, the king was only 14 years old. However, Jijabai came to stay in Pune with little Shivaji Raja. At that time the situation in Pune was very dire. So, as soon as she arrived in Pune, Rajmata Jijau tucked her cloak into her waist and took up the work of Pune.

Jijabai gave firm guidance to Shivaji Raj on every important occasion. Jijau Mata used to narrate stories from Mahabharata and Ramayana to Shiva to inculcate great rites like nation and religion. In fact, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj learned the lessons of judgment from Jijau Mata. In this way, Rajmata Jijabai was actually the progenitor of Shivaji Maharaj.

Apart from this, Shiva Raya’s eight marriages were also aimed at uniting the fragmented Maratha community. Even when Shivaji Maharaj was imprisoned in Agra, the sutras of Swarajya were in the hands of Jijau’s mother.

Such a mother passed away in the year 1674, just twelve days after witnessing the golden moment of Shivaji Maharaj’s coronation. Friends, thanks to such Jijau our soil of Maharashtra got Shivaraya and Hindu Swarajya was established.

When our Shivaji Maharaj came to Pune Pargana as Subhedar, Jijau Rajmata used to pay a certain amount to Shivaba to run the affairs there. In today’s parlance, giving pocket money. But that money was given only to run the expenses of the parish. Shivaji Maharaj used to plan everything with that amount.

That is, everything from compensation to the people during the drought. Well, at what age Shivaji Maharaj was doing all this planning, at the age of just twelve! For three years Shiva managed all the dolars in this way, then in the fifteenth year he took an oath before Raireshwara.

Where did they get rid of this ‘pocket money’ type? Shivaji Maharaj used to do everything according to the orders of Rajmata Jijau. Shiv never let a single word of Rajmata Jijau fall down.

But friends, understanding Jijau masaheb is not the job of any child! To understand Rajmata Jijau we have to put ourselves in their place, only then we will know Rajmata Jijau.

The quoted lines, whose hand to hold the rope, free the world, are a beautiful outline of the supreme moment of our mother’s great invention! Yugapurush Shivarai was born, grew and became the ‘Mahameru of determination’. A lot of people support. The one who is described as Srimant Yogi.’, she was someone’s virtue, but she belonged to a goal-obsessed mother, an unselfish mother and a heroic mother, Maasaheb Jijaun!

While Rajmata Jijau Maasaheb raised Shivrayan on the shoulders of Shivneri in Pune, while teaching him to behave fearlessly in the bosom of Sahyadri, he taught Shivrayan about the stories of ‘Rama and Krishna’ in Mahabharata and Ramayana. Apart from this, he also nurtured Shivaraya to establish self-government. Rajmata Jijau is the maternal power that inculcated in Shiva Raya’s mind that ‘this is the wish of Shri.

Just as Maharashtra is the land of heroic sons, it is also the land of heroic mothers. Friends, Rajmata Jijau was no ordinary woman. Jijau had instilled self-respect in the blood of his sons. It was Rajmata Jijau who did the work of bringing the dream of self-government to the dying masses and making them alive in the true sense.

He had taught Shiva from his childhood to respect women. At that time, there was a lot of injustice and oppression of women in our Maharashtra by the Mughals, they created Shiva to fight against that injustice and stand as the protector of women.

Friends, when Shivaji Maharaj was trapped in the siege of Panhala fort. Then Rajamata Jijau herself went on a war to free Shivaji who was trapped in the siege of Panhala; But Netaji Palkar dissuaded him from that. In this episode, his filial love can be seen, as well as extraordinary zeal.etc. S. In the year 1664, Shahaji Raja met with an accident in the forest of Dodigiri and died, Rajmata Jijau herself was going to go to Sati after being struck by lightning, but Shivaji Raja dissuaded her from this decision by pleading with her. Jijabai had many good qualities.

It was a great achievement. Shahaji Raj had handed over all the governance in the hands of Rajmata Jijau. A poem has been written on Rajmata Jijaun which gives a remarkable description of our Rajmata. That is, ‘Yugapurusha made, who built a special state, a precious gem emerged above the soil of Adamas Shivneri, in the bosom of Sahyadri!

The dream of Hindavi Swarajya, which was established, has come to fruition. What an indescribable importance of her contribution, the dream of Swarajya was created through her every action! Thank you!

Jai Jijau! Jai Shivarai!
