Rajasthan Indira Awas Yojana Overview
Financial assistance is provided by the Rajasthan government to the poor people living in the rural areas of the state to build a house under the Indira Awas Yojana. This scheme was started by Rajiv Gandhi 1G in 1985 in the name of his mother and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi (IAY). Which was reconstituted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 1 April 2016 in the name of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). Many parameters have been changed in PMAY. And financial aid has also been increased. Which was earlier 70 thousand rupees. Now this amount has been increased to Rs 1.30 lakh.

To apply for PM Awas Yojana (IAY), applicant person type required documents such as income certificate, residence certificate, bank pass book, aadhar card, BPL card, caste certificate, passport size photo etc. must be attached with the letter.
The benefit of Rajasthan Indira Awas Yojana will be given to those people of rural areas of the state. People who are financially poor, and do not have a pucca house to live in. The government has set a target to provide housing to all the people by 2022 under this scheme. The person eligible for Indira Gandhi Awas Yojana will be the same. Whose family annual income is less than 3 lakh rupees.
