Overview of Rajasthan Government Calendar 2023
The Rajasthan government has released the calendar for the year 2023. According to this calendar, there will be a total of 29 public holidays next year. While there will be 21 optional holidays. The General Administration Department has issued orders. According to the order issued by the General Administration Department, there will be general public holidays on Saturdays and Sundays in the year. Every employee will be allowed to avail any two holidays from the list of optional holidays. Muslim holidays depend on the sighting of the moon. This order will be applicable only on government offices. The day coming after Janmashtami in Kota will automatically be considered as a holiday instead of Janmashtami.
Public holidays for bank employees are published separately by the Department of Financial Affairs. On the occasion of local fairs, festivals, etc., the District Collector related to each district and the Office of the Chief Resident Commissioner, New Delhi will declare two local holidays in the government offices located in Delhi. If any gazetted holiday is declared by the state government later on these dates, it will remain unchanged. By declaring a local holiday, the concerned District Collector will send a copy of the order to this department immediately.
