Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana Overview
Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY) was launched by the Government of India under the Life Insurance Corporation of India by the Central Government for the senior citizens of the country. This plan provides old age income security. Vaya Vandana offers an assured return of 8% p.a. for 10 years. The interest under this scheme is provided on monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly basis.
Under PM Vaya Vandana Yojana, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) will provide an assured return of 8% per annum for 10 years. Under PM Vaya Vandana Yojana, once you have to buy the policy. After the maturity of the policy (after 10 years from the date of purchase of the policy), LIC will pay you the purchase price plus 8% interest rate over a ten year time period. Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana 2021 aims to secure the future of the citizens after their retirement.
To apply for PM Vaya Vandana Yojana, the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents with the application form and submit it to the LIC office.
Registration Process:
Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY) provides instant pension for senior citizens 60 years and above. It can be purchased by paying a lump sum amount. PMVVY scheme provides for pension payment of policy value of 10 years, with a return of purchase price at the end of 10 years. Pension Payment Mode- Available on Monthly / Quarterly / Half Yearly / Yearly.
