Muthu and 30 Thieves Overview
To prevent the public from falling victim to cyber crimes and losing money, the Chennai Police has released an awareness book on cyber crimes titled “Muthu and 30 Thieves”.
To help save the public from cyber crimes and to create awareness about it, the Chennai Police has prepared 30 types of cyber crimes that are currently in practice, along with easy-to-understand diagrams on how we can escape from them, under the name “Muthu and 30 Thieves”.
The book was released by Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner Shankar Jiwal at Vepery Police Commissionerate.
The Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner has requested that all the public should read this cyber crime awareness book and develop awareness about cyber crimes.
This book deals with fraud through URL link,e-bill fraud, PAN and Aadhar KYC renewal, Fraud through loan apps, fraud by impersonating an officer, SIM card disconnection fraud, Amazon and flipkart part time employment fraud, withdrawal fraud through video call., described 30 cybercrimes, including fraud in investing in cryptocurrencies.
