MP Kanya Abhibhavak Pension Yojana Overview

The Government of Madhya Pradesh has started the Girl Parent Pension Scheme. Under this scheme, the government will give the benefit of pension to those people. Couples who have only daughter and that too after marriage, go to their in-laws’ house. After which, there is no one left to take care of the parents. At the same time, the source of income of the family also ends. The main objective of MP Kanya Parbandhak Pension Yojana is to provide financial assistance to the people who do not have any means of earning. The benefit and priority of this scheme will be given to those people who have only child daughter and they belong to BPL family. Also the age of the parent should be more than 60.

Eligibility:

• The applicant must be a native of Madhya Pradesh.
• One of the guardians should be 60 years of age or above.
• Also, the applicant should belong to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family.
• The applicant should be the guardian of the girl child only.
• Daughters should be married.
• The couple should not be Income Tax Payer.
