Devotees should meditate on Goddess Lakshmi while reciting Mahalaxmi Ashtakam and Shri Mahalakshmi Kavach. Devotees should keep chanting Mahalakshmi Mantra. After worshiping the mother with a sincere heart, one should also do the aarti of Lakshmi ji.
