HP EWS Certificate Form Overview

Economically weaker sections started by the central government have now been implemented in the state of Himachal as well. Through EWS, poor and economically weaker people will get the benefit of reservation in government jobs and educational institutions of the state. The people who are considered by the central government to be eligible for Economically Weaker Sections. A guide line has been issued for them. The annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed 8 lakhs and they should not have more than 5 acres of land.

Eligibility:

• Applicant must be of General Cast.
• The family income of the beneficiary should not exceed 8 lakhs.

• 10% reservation will be given for general category under EWS certificate.
