Hindi Pakhwada 2022 Schedule Overview
In accordance with the Official Language Policy/Rules of the Government of India, many programs are organized throughout the year for the promotion of Official Language Hindi. Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on 14th September and Hindi Pakhwada is celebrated from 1st September to 15th September. As the President of the Kendriya Hindi Samiti, the message of the Prime Minister of India and the President of India is also issued. In order to create awareness about Official Language Hindi, there is a provision to organize many Hindi programs, competitions, Kavi Sammelans, seminars, and Rajbhasha Sammelans by every department at the Indian level during the Hindi fortnight. On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, officers and employees who have done more work in Hindi are honored.
Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on 14th September. On 14 September 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India decided by one vote that Hindi would be the national language of India. On the request of Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti, Wardha, every year since 1953, 14 September is celebrated as Hindi Diwas all over India to show the importance of this important decision and to spread Hindi in every region. In the year 1918, Gandhiji had asked to make Hindi the national language in the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan. Gandhiji also called it the language of the masses.
