Haryana Destitute Children Financial Assistance Overview
Provides financial assistance to destitute children of Haryana Government. Under this scheme, it is a scheme of the state government, under which the parents/guardians of the child till the age of 21 years, who are destitute due to various reasons as shown below, will be given Rs.200/- per month from 1-3-2009. Child financial assistance was given and financial assistance is provided to a maximum of two children in a family. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs.500/- per child was being given since January 2014. From 01.11.2016 financial assistance of Rs.700/- and from 01.11.2017 to Rs.900/- per month per child is being given.
This is a State Scheme under which parents/guardians of the children upto the age of 21 years who are deprived of proper care because of the death or long imprisonment of their parents, long illness or mental retardation, are paid financial assistance subject to the maximum for two children of one family as per eligibility criteria laid down in the scheme.

Benefits:
Rate of Allowance: Rs. 900 per month per child subject to the maximum for two children of one family (w.e.f 01-11-2017).
Haryana Nirashrit Bache Sahayata Yojana Benefit of a child up to the age of 21 years who has died due to the assistance or care of his parents, absence from his father’s house for the last 2 years or due to the absence of the parent. Long sentence, which shall not be less than one year or or is deprived of mental/physical incapacity. To avail the benefits of Haryana Nisrit Bachha Sahayata Yojana, the applicant has to submit the application form along with all the necessary documents. After which it will have to be submitted to the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.
