In Naradapurana and Matsyapurana, Garuda is mentioned as a mythological subject. Available as is. The currently available Garuda Purana has seven thousand verses. Although the number of verses in the available Garuda Purana is less, there is no dearth of content. If we read the Bhavishya Rajvamsakhyana in it, it will be revealed that it was compiled during the time of Janamejaya. The Andhra and Gupta dynasties are mentioned in the Bhavishyaraja genealogical accounts of the Matsya and Vishnu Puranas. But since it lacks those accounts, it is reasonable to assume that it is older than the Puranas.
During the time of Shudraka Maharaja, Buddhism and Hinduism were mixed. At that time, Buddhism and worship of Buddha were more prevalent in our country. That is why Buddha is referred to as the 21st incarnation of Lord Vishnu. In this the lineage of Riddha’s father (shuddhodhako rahulascha senajat sudraktasatha) is clearly stated.
