Dhanteras Puja Vidhi Overview
It is said that worshiping on the day of Dhanteras brings happiness and wealth to the person’s house. If no auspicious work has been done in your house for a long time, then you must do this worship on the day of Dhanteras.
Dhanvantari and Kuber Dev are worshiped on Dhanteras. Worshiping these two gods not only destroys health-related problems in the house, but also brings rain of wealth. Kuber Dev is the god of wealth and Dhanvantari ji is the god of health. If you also want to worship Dhanteras at your home, then you can use the Dhanteras worship method given here.
Pujan Vidhi:
- Establish Kuber and Dhanvantri towards the north in the auspicious time on Dhanteras in the evening.
- Along with this, idols or pictures of Goddess Lakshmi and Ganesh should also be installed.
- Now light the lamp and start worshiping duly.
- After doing Tilak, offer flowers, fruits etc.
- Now offer white sweets to Kuber Deva and yellow sweets to Dhanvantari Dev.
- Keep chanting this mantra ‘Om Hreem Kuberai Namah’ during the worship.
- Dhanvantari Stotra should be recited on this day to please Lord Dhanvantari.
