Delhi MCD AAP Candidates 2022 Overview
The Aam Aadmi Party announced the final list of its MCD candidates on Saturday. 117 hardworking and old party volunteers with a lot of connections in the area will be given higher level of consideration when it comes to free tickets.The list of candidates was finalised in a meeting of the AAP PAC chaired by AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. Recently, the Aam Aadmi Party had announced its first list of 133 candidates on November 11th. This follows a growing trend of volunteerism in the party, which recognizes the many hours people are likely to give up as part of their commitment to helping build this country.
After a meeting on Friday, the Aam Aadmi Party Political Affairs Committee met again in Delhi on Saturday regarding the upcoming MCD elections. The meeting that started at 10 AM and spanned throughout the day was held under the chairmanship of AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. Besides the AAP Convenor, AAP Senior Leader and Delhi Dy CM Shri Manish Sisodia and AAP Delhi State Convenor and Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai were present in the meeting among other senior members.
The AAP party in India also looks for people who have done something to make themselves memorable, or who have had a defining impact on society that sets them apart.They believed that if people with a social conscience get elected, public issues can be solved quickly and we will all have the chance to work together to make Delhi a world-class city.
