Brihaspativar Vrat Katha Puja Vidhi
- While worshiping Thursday, it should be kept in mind that the worship should be according to the rituals.
- One should wake up early in the morning on the day of fast and worship the god Brihaspati.
- The worship of Jupiter is done by offering yellow things, yellow flowers, gram donation, yellow sweets, yellow rice etc.
- Worship only banana in this fast. At the time of Katha and worship, one should pray to Brihaspatidev for fulfillment of desires after being purified of mind, deed and words.
- Eat only one meal a day. Eat gram dal etc., do not eat salt, wear yellow clothes, use yellow fruits, worship with yellow sandalwood.
- After worship, the story and aarti of Lord Brihaspati should be done.

।। श्री बृहस्पति जी की आरती ।।
ऊँ जय बृहस्पति देवा, जय बृहस्पति देवा।
छिन छिन भोग लगाऊँ, कदली फल मेवा॥
ऊँ जय बृहस्पति देवा॥
तुम पूर्ण परमात्मा,तुम अन्तर्यामी।
जगतपिता जगदीश्वर,तुम सबके स्वामी॥
ऊँ जय बृहस्पति देवा॥
चरणामृत निज निर्मल,सब पातक हर्ता।
सकल मनोरथ दायक,कृपा करो भर्ता॥
ऊँ जय बृहस्पति देवा॥
तन, मन, धन अर्पण कर,जो जन शरण पड़े।
प्रभु प्रकट तब होकर,आकर द्वार खड़े॥
ऊँ जय बृहस्पति देवा॥
दीनदयाल दयानिधि,भक्तन हितकारी।
पाप दोष सब हर्ता,भव बन्धन हारी॥
ऊँ जय बृहस्पति देवा॥
