BJP MCD Candidate List 2022 Overview
Bharatiya Janata Party has released the second list of candidates for MCD Election 2022. The names of 18 candidates are included in this list. The local electoral commission announced a list of 250 wards today, which will be contested in elections this time. The list includes names of 232 candidates. Earlier on the 12th November, they had released the first list which included 232 candidates
The party said in a statement that these candidates include 126 women, three Muslims, seven Sikhs and nine former mayors. The 18 candidates who have not been announced now will be announced at a later time. BJP’s Delhi unit general secretary and former mayor Harsh Malhotra said that the names of 232 candidates have been announced after the approval of the party’s national president J P Nadda. The voting is going to take place on the 4th December and the results will be released on 7th December.
